Put these on my 08 350z.
Looks great and have used then for a year now and the still look and work great.
Doesn't through off balance even at very high speed, no wobble.
Plus took them off after a year to change the pads and new no deposit casino bonuses no deposit pads still look brand new!
They fit well, look great, are solid, and delivery fast and trouble free - not sure what the other guy was saying about it not looking like that - no pretty power sport box I guess?
The stuff that matters was all right there and customer service answered drilled and slotted rotors good or bad fitment questions right away.
All in all, very happy.
I purchased this rotors and brakes for a Infinity M45.
The items where as described by the seller.
My mechanic installed it without any problems and they work very good.
The price was very reasonable for this purchase.
Direct fit, easy install, quiet when braking.
Hopefully these will keep the heat down on my wife's Traverse so the rotors won't warp before the pads are end of life.
Plenty of pad left but front end shake from the warped rotors.
Got about 50000 out of the OEM rotors.
Plain and simple, great investment added to my car.
They look good I get a lot of compliments but also the brakes are worth the difference between the OEM.
Driving down to a complete stop I could feel the difference from stock.
My previous rotors were warped and I wasn't aware until after I purchased the vehicle.
Great product, fast shipping and I will definitely be doing business with this company again!!!
Just installed the front rotors and pads.
I will update after I have some miles on them.
Still have to install the rear rotors and pads but quality looks the same.
Doesn't come with any directions at all so make sure you know what you are doing.
These rotors are left right specific due to the holes and slots.
If you look at the rotor number around the perimeter at the end is either an L or an R.
R is Passenger Side and L is Driver Side for a 1993 Acura Integra Hatchback.
Typically I do not write reviews good or bad.
However, aftermarket truck parts should get a review to alert the next guy or someone one the fence.
These brakes and rotors are excellent.
Great fit, easy installation and quite on the application of the brake.
All in all I am extremely happy with these and would suggest them.
I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500.
We searched everywhere visit web page the best price, but not compromise quality.
These were perfect and we would buy these again.
Seem to be good quality but did not fit my truck.
I contacted seller and they refunded the full amount.
They said that the part numbers were correct but the bolt pattern was different.
They may good on the deal 100%.
Great customer service I have had these on my 2010 F-150 for over a year with no problems at all.
No shudder or squeling.
I followed the recommended break in procedure and everything is fine.
Great value and fit perfectly.
Bought these with a little bit of hesitation due to price and uncertainty of fit and how well they work.
But, I am so glad I did.
These work way better than I hoped and look great too.
I have recommended them to all of my friends.
Pads and rotors are great, and look amazing on my husbands 2008 xterra!
They work so much better than the stock brakes.

Brake rotors come in various designs with the most popular being cross drilled or slotted.
Which of these rotors is better and why?
We get these questions a lot so we will share some differences and our person preference for which are the best.
Crossed drilled rotors and slotted rotors and rotors that are both slotted and drilled are designed to allow gases to escape that build up between the brake pad and brake rotor.
This allows your brakes to run cooler and stop better.
Cross Drilled Rotors Cross drilled rotors are OEM style blank rotors that have been cross drilled to allow heat to escape that builds up between the brake pad and rotor through the drilled holes.
Many people prefer drilled rotors because they like the look and consider it a good upgrade new no deposit casino bonuses no deposit an OEM blank rotor.
Over the years, we have seen drilled rotors crack between the drilled holes due to the rotor being low quality and extreme brake temps causing excessive heat.
If you are buying a drilled rotor, we recommend a quality brand such as.
The image on the right shows what can happen with a low quality cross drilled rotor when it cracks.
Slotted Rotors Slotted brake rotors are a great alternative to drilled rotors because they serve the same purpose of expelling hot brake gas, but since they retain the strength of the rotor, they do not crack like drilled rotors can.
We highly recommend slotted rotors such as.
Some people argue that the drilled rotors are more for show, and the slotted rotors are more for race and performance.
Slotted rotors are also better designed for cops donuts slots conditions as they move water drilled and slotted rotors good or bad from the rotor more efficiently for superior wet braking.

If you decide you want the look of a drilled rotor, go with a high quality brand to lower the chance of cracking between the drills.
But as perfect as it is for drifting, it has an unfortunately restrictive OEM exhaust system.
The rotor face drilled and slotted rotors good or bad frost up if its really cold and humid drilled and slotted rotors that should rub off almost immediately once you start driving.

I am considering buying some brembo drilled rotors.
But do you think its worth it?
I know the drilled remain cooler but they must be good if you drive very aggresive, right?
Best Answer: There are 4 main types of rotors: solid, ventilated, slotted and drilled.
Solid is what you find on rear discs.
It's just an iron disc.
Ventilated is what you commonly find on front discs.
Its actually 2 discs with metal fins separating them, so that air can pass through the disc from the centre drilled and slotted rotors good or bad the edge and help it cool down.
Slotted discs have grooved machined into the disc face.
This aids in keeping the disc and the pad clean and dry the grooves scrape the water off the padand gives the pad a little more bite, since the friction area isn't completely smooth.
It also tends to resurface the pads every time the brakes are applied, so scoring of the disc is rare and braking is more consistent, but the pads don't last as long.
Drilled is similar to slotted, but it also makes the disc lighter.
This aids handling by reducing your unsprung weight, but also means that there is less metal there to take the heat generated when braking.
They also have a tendency to warp and crack, because they heat up too fast, and then cool too fast.
Some also claim better off-gassing from the pads, but most pads don't have gassing problems these days.
They also claim better cooling, because of the slightly higher surface area.
However, most repair shops won't service drilled discs.
Generally except for a few sports carsdrilled rotors are only truly effective drilled and slotted rotors good or bad race cars - they can take the heat since racers aren't on the brakes for very long and the brakes never really get a chance too cool down all the way before the next corner, anyway - so they don't get a chance to warp until after the race.
Besides, they can afford to change then after each race.
Slotted is your best bet for all-round performance and longevity, especially for on-road use.
This Site Might Help You.
RE: Which are better?
Regular or Drilled Brake Rotors?
I am considering buying some brembo drilled rotors.
But do you think its worth it?
I know the drilled remain cooler but they must be good if you drive very aggresive, right?
The thing about racing on a track is that your brakes get hot for repeated stopping.
If they get too hot, they will stop working!
But if you take stock brakes, and brembos with drilled rotors and go 100 mph and slam on the brakes, you will stop in nearly the same distance.
Because brakes are equal until you do heavy on and off braking that makes them hot!
I mean the brembos with slotted or drilled rotors look hot but 99% of people do not need them.
Spend your 2-3 k on hot wheels, or something that adds real performance like a turbo.
Brembo actually puts a warning on its drilled rotors that they are not intended for track use.
This would seem to imply that these are not really a high-performance product.
They are an appearance product.
People buy them because they think they look cool.
If you want to stop sooner think pads and brake fluid, not drilled rotors.
Drilled are not really worth it unless you drive so fast that you are experiencing brake fade because solid rotors are not being able to dissipate heat as drilled and slotted rotors good or bad as you want them too.
You should take into consideration that you are not going to be able to turn those rotors and they will need to be replaced if they start to warp.
You should try going with the slotted if you really believe you drive that hard or at that just stay on solids.
For a street car, drilled rotors are unnecessary.
A high quality brake pad is worth more.
article source don't see drilled rotors in Nascar or F1.
Putting holes in your rotor reduces friction area, which in turn reduces braking ability.
The only way any rotor warps is from heat.
Drilled rotors reduce heat and brake fade much better than stock stuff.
You don't need to out brake a brick wall to appreciate drilled and slotted rotors good or bad difference.
Brembo brakes are an excellent choice for any car especially if you plan on driving fast and stopping hard, there's really no better choice Drilled are better, I have them on my car.
Yeah they look cool, and well they do remain at cool temp comparing to regular rotors.
But don't get cheap consider, olg slots and casino ottawa right! pads, go ceramic.
Quiet, better, and what brake dust?

Are they better than plain rotors, or worse?
In the real world of street driven cars, will they help my stopping power?
Mike Skelly of offered us a little history on the origin of drilled rotors.
In that era of organic and asbestos based pad friction material, a problem occurred with the adhesives used to fasten the pad to the steel backing plates.
As the temperature of the pads increased, the adhesive would break down and cause a layer article source gas to form between the rotor and the pads.
By drilling holes in the rotor surface those gasses were able to be dissipated into the vented center of the rotor, no longer interfering with the pad to rotor friction.
Racers also liked the idea that the rotating mass of the rotor was reduced, causing a small advantage of less inertia during acceleration and braking.
The relatively sharp edges of the slots are also considered as an aid in resolving the pad glazing that can occur at high temperatures.
Fresh pad material is then exposed for better braking drilled and slotted rotors good or bad at the cost of faster pad wear due to the constant renewing of the pad surface.
The conclusion is that slotting may improve braking, with little chance of loss.
The now common ceramic based pads do not produce the outgassing problem in any conceivable street use, so there is no real function based reason to use drilled rotors.
Slotted rotors may still be useful in their ability to remove pad glazing but consequently produce faster pad wear.
That spells more brake dust on your wheels.
That dust can be corrosive to aluminum wheels, as are many of the chemical cleaners used to remove that dust.
Since most hot rods are not driven hard enough to get hot enough to glaze the pads, slotted rotors may offer little in the way of better brake function.
The laws of physics tell us that energy can be moved and converted to other forms of energy, but never destroyed.
That means the kinetic energy rotating mass of the rolling wheel and tire are resisted by the brakes, which convert that motion energy into heat energy.
That heat is then dissipated into the air by the cooling of the caliper body and rotor.
Think of the rotor as the radiator for the brake system.
Big brakes on the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Following that heat transfer logic new no deposit casino bonuses no deposit us that a rotor with more mass can absorb more heat energy than a lighter rotor of the same design.
That is an drilled and slotted rotors good or bad of larger diameter rotors, along with the greater leverage of increased size.
The problem with regard to our question of drilled and slotted rotors new no deposit casino bonuses no deposit that those practices act to reduce the mass of the rotor, reducing the desired heat transfer.
Some rodders have correctly stated that the rotor surface area is increased by drilling or slotting, but the issue in heat transfer is mass, not surface area.
It does seem that a greater rotor surface area may allow a faster cool down after the heavy braking has stopped, but the issue is more about heat transfer during braking due to rotor total mass.
It is the experience based opinion of every single brake expert I have consulted, that read article loss of rotor mass due to drilling and slotting creates more brake loss than any possible gains due to degassing or faster cooling of the surface area.
There is no better authority on hot rod brakes than Ralph Lisena at.
Ralph agrees that practical street driven vehicles rarely encounter the high heat conditions that make drilled or drilled and slotted rotors good or bad rotors beneficial from a strictly functional standpoint.
For the street, you want a heavier, larger diameter rotor.
Since both were twelve-inch diameter cast iron vented rotors, using calipers of the same piston bore and using the same pads, the conclusion we draw is that GM engineers agreed that the larger rotor mass would produce the desired better brakes for heavier loads.
So we seem to be back to the idea that the major issue in brake system heat transfer is the rotor mass.
Outgassing of heated brake pads is not an issue in any conceivable street application.
Therefore, drilling the rotors may cause a very small loss of braking power, rather than an increase.
But, we may be over thinking a small issue.
The consensus among experts is that there will be little effect either way in the real world.
So, if you like the way they look, go for it.

In addition, a cross-drilled rotor now has more surface area, and thus cools down more quickly.
Each hole is countersunk for a smooth linear transition at the edge.
To reduce the stress and prevent cracking, the holes are also uniquely chamfered to the minimum thickness for exceptional rotor life.
